MSD5 MC Edition

Overview

The MSD5 MC Edition is a special version of the MSD5 software package intended for use with many of the MARTIN PROFESSIONAL controllers. Products designated to include the MSD5 MC Edition trial license are: M1, Maxxyz Compact, all MaxModules, M-PC and the recent LightJockey II (which now all come with a Martin One-Key). (More information on the FREE TRIAL VERSION that comes with the MARTIN PROFESSIONAL controllers can be found in this document by Paul Pelletier from Martin Professional.)

These products will all include a 45 days showcase license for the MSD5 MC Edition, which means that for 45 days you will have full access to the MSD5 MC version features, including a number of showcase functions from the even more extended MSD5 Gold version.
(To use the trial license, you need to register and activate it. For more information, see the License activation section.)

After the 45 days, it will still work, but only in a 'limited mode' of the MSD5 MC. This means that only the 3D Visualizer will work with the MSD5 MC functionality, with 2 DMX universes, and you can no longer save scenes. You will still be able to load and run your shows (with the 2 universe limitation).

You can of course renew your full MSD5 MC Edition license for another 12 months (Euro 149,-) or longer, using the Martin ShowDesigner online store, activating the complete MSD5 MC functionality for another year, after which it will again revert to the limited mode.

For the latest versions and updates for the MSD5 MC Edition, please see the MSD Software > MSD 5 MC download section.
